Stewardship

Stewardship is about much more than money!

In this life, God has blessed each of us with time, talent, and, yes, resources. In thanksgiving, our response should be to cultivate these gifts, share them, and in doing so bring about the kingdom of God in this world.

Opportunities for being a good steward are abundant.

  • Can you share your faith with our children by volunteering in our Religious Education program?
  • Can you serve the poor by working in our St. Vincent de Paul conference or helping in the Food Bank?
  • Can you visit the sick and homebound with compassion and Communion?
  • Can you serve at Mass by being an usher, lector, Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, Master of Ceremonies, or musician?
  • Can you help build a sense of family in our parish by joining the Knights of Columbus, the Young Ladies Institute, or other parish groups?

And, yes, can you help support the work of the church through financial donations? In addition to support to the parish, we ask your assistance with the Bishop’s Annual Catholic Appeal. Occasionally, we also take up ‘second collections’ for various causes.  We certainly don’t ask you to donate to everything, but we do ask your prayerful consideration of sharing your resources.

You can donate to the Sunday Mass collection, directly to the parish office, or online.
