Vocations Committee

The Vocations Committee at Christ the King strives to increase awareness for religious vocations through prayer in our parish. The committee works with other parish groups (for example, the Knights of Columbus, the Serra Club, and YLI) that focus on discernment, encouragement, promotion, and aid for vocations.

The committee sponsors a Prayer Chalice program:  we offer chalices that two parishioners can take home for a week.  During that week, the parishioner's family discusses and prays for vocations using the chalice as a focal point.  The chalice comes with guidance and suggested prayers.
