Announcements and More!

Updated Saturday September 5

Second Collection This Weekend:  The Diocese of Yakima is holding a special collection to assist the victims of wildfires especially in our diocese.  Your generosity will provide practical assistance and helping families move toward long-term recovery.

Let us continue to pray for all those affected and ask the Lord to give them strength, hope, and the support they need during this difficult time.

Please consider making a generous donation, at Mass or here: Wildfire Relief Special Collection

God bless you for your help!!

A Reflection from Msgr. Champoux

This hymn text from the Divine Office is fitting for harvest season and caring for all of creation:

For the fruits of His creation, thanks be to God;

For His gifts to every nation, thanks be to God;

For the ploughing, sowing, reaping, silent growth while men are sleeping,
future needs in earth’s safekeeping, thanks be to God.

In the just reward of labor, God’s will is done;

In the help we give our neighbor, God’s will is done;

In our worldwide task of caring for the hungry and despairing,
in the harvests men are sharing, God’s will is done.

For the harvests of His spirit, thanks be to God;

For the good all men inherit, thanks be to God;

For the wonders that astound us, for the truths that still confound us,
most of all that love has found us, thanks be to God.
