Here's a quick summary of updated information and upcoming events: 


Reminders about our schedule during Lent:

  • Weekday Masses are at 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • Our Thursday evening Adoration and confession time are cancelled because of the evening Mass;
    they will resume after Easter.
  • On Fridays during Lent, we’ll offer a meatless soup supper at 6 p.m. in the Gathering Space, followed by Stations of the Cross at 6:45 p.m.  Friday March 27 is our last soup supper.


Our A Walk Through the Mass series concludes this week, on Tuesday March 24 at 7 p.m. in the church.

Also on March 24, the Chrism Mass, the diocesan Chrism Mass will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, 15 S. 12th Avenue, in Yakima. Bishop Tyson will bless all the oils used in baptism, anointing of the sick, confirmation, and ordination for the coming year. 
In addition, our priests renew their promises of ordination; keep them in your prayers, please! 
All are welcome at the Mass.


Pancake Breakfast: Scout Troop 249 invites you to a pancake breakfast at the Columbian Club on 2500 Chester Road in Richland from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday March 29. Tickets are $5.00 per person, purchase at the door. Join us for food and fun with family and friends!


Easter Egg Hunt:  after the 11:30 a.m. Mass on April 5, at the Christ the King Catholic School soccer field.
Bring your own basket! Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

Groundskeeping Opportunity:  Christ the King is looking for bidders on our grounds work for the Parish.
If you are interested, please pick up a copy of the bid specifications available in the Parish Office.
We plan to have a contract in place by May 2 for the upcoming season.

Good Friday, April 3:     Stations of the Cross at noon
                                      Commemoration of Our Lord’s Passion, 3:00 p.m.
                                      Commemoration of Our Lord’s Passion, 5:30 p.m.


Holy Saturday, April 4: Easter Vigil Mass, 7:30 p.m.


Easter Sunday, April 5: Mass at 7:30 a.m. in the church
                                      Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the church
                                      Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the school gym
                                      Mass at 11:30 a.m. in the church
                                      Mass (Spanish) at 1:30 p.m. in the church


(No morning Masses on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, or Holy Saturday; no evening Mass on Easter. 
Only one Mass at 11:30 a.m. on Easter.)
