Altar Servers

Altar Servers

Altar servers assist the priest in the celebration of the Mass and other liturgical services (e.g., funerals).  Boys and girls who have completed fourth grade and/or are 10 years of age and have received the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist are eligible to participate as Altar Servers. As with all liturgical duties, it is an honor to be able to serve.

Training for this ministry is provided at various times throughout the year. Anyone interested in serving as an Altar Server can obtain a training schedule form by contacting the parish office at 509-946-1675. We will call you for the training.



A strong effort is made to accommodate vacations and sports schedules when the Altar Server schedule is drawn up.
