Did you know that diocesan approvals are marked on the spine of parish library books?

Nihil Obstat (NO) - Approved by the diocesan censor to publish a manuscript dealing with faith or morals
Imprimi Potest (IP) - Permission that a religious receives from his major superior to publish a manuscript on a religious subject.
Imprimatur (I) - The Latin term for "let it be printed," which signifies the approval by a bishop of a religious work for publication.

Three (3) week check out for lending materials with the possibility of renewal. Reference materials are for library use only.
Practice recycling...check out, return, repeat!

We are trying to catalogue our books for easier access and more convenient check out. Volunteers are not paid, not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless. Library volunteers are a special group. A great librarian is resourceful, loves to learn and enjoys assisting patrons within the focus and standards of the parish. Volunteer training will start soon. If you are interested, please email library@ckparish.org Thank You!

We are in need of more CHILDREN, TEEN, and YOUNG ADULT items for the library. If you have items you would like to donate, please leave them by the library in a container. If you wish to make a monetary donation, please do so at the parish office. If you wish to donate other items, please be aware that because of limited space, some items may not be kept, but may be made available for parishioners to take.

Please click
