Sacramental Preparation - Confirmation

2006-2007 CONFIRMATION REQUIREMENTS

• Attend Mass regularly.
• Attend six (6) LIFE Nights.
• Read, sign, and return parish confirmation covenant form.
• Find and choose a sponsor -- have your sponsor sign agreement form and return it to Jonny.
• Maintain weekly contact with your sponsor.
• Attend six (6) Super Sunday sessions and four (4) Small Group sessions. (If you miss a session, you MUST contact either (a) Jonny or (b) your team leader, (c) other candidates and find out what you missed and write a short summary of the session you missed and how those topics impact your life. This summary needs to be turned in to Jonny no later than the next Super Sunday. Missing more than 2 Super Sundays or 2 Small Group sessions will seriously jeopardize your opportunity to be Confirmed in the Spring).
• Attend one weekend retreat. (If you don't attend this one, there will additional retreats sponsored by other parishes in the diocese that you can attend in the Spring. YOU are responsible to register and attend one retreat to be Confirmed in the Spring).
• Complete 20 service hours. These hours must be completed to be Confirmed in the Spring.

For specific questions about Confirmation at Christ the King Parish, please e-mail or call Jonny at 946-1675.
