"Ring out your joy to the Lord, O you just; for praise is fitting for loyal hearts. Give thanks to the Lord upon the harp, with a ten-stringed lute sing him songs. O sing him a song that is new, play loudly, with all your skill" (Psalm 33).
The contribution of instrumentalists is important, both in accompanying the singing and in playing by themselves. Songs in our liturgies achieve much of their vitality from the rhythm and harmony of their accompaniments. Artistry and proficiency are greatly valued in an instrumentalist. The skill they possess helps lead those in the assembly to more active participation in the sung liturgy. Please call or e-mail Donna Horstman at 946-1154 ext. 239 for more information.
